About Neil Tardy
Neil Tardy has always been a sports fanatic. As a youngster, when his beloved Minnesota Vikings suffered a rare regular-season loss (or an all-too-frequent Super Bowl drubbing), he wept openly. By the 1980s, when hair bands and Chris Berman seemed hip, Neil was studying accounting. Again, he wept openly. Fortunately, about this time, he rediscovered his fondness of the written word, becoming a journalist, and discovered a new outlet for his sports passion, fantasy sports. After nearly 20 years writing for community newspapers and a computer magazine group and playing as much fantasy football and baseball as he could, Neil finally combined his occupation and vocation, joining the stable of writers at TalentedMrRoto.com in 2006. He’s since had fantasy baseball and basketball articles posted on SI.com and NBA.com, and currently Neil is a fantasy hoops analyst at ESPN.com. He started this blog when it occurred to him that no one else had ever thought to take random musings on fantasy sports and post them to the Internet…
